Thursday 15-September-2022

Thirty administrative detainees affiliated with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) plan to start a hunger strike in the coming weeks in protest at their continued administrative detention and extending their detention orders.

In a press statement on Thursday the PFLP said that the hunger strike is set to start on the 25th of September 2022 asserting that the detainees are fighting in a decisive battle to regain their rights.

“The thirty prisoners served a sum of 200 years in the Israeli prisons without trial or charge” the statement added.

Around 4550 Palestinian prisoners including 27 women 175 children and 670 administrative detainees are being held in Israeli jails.
