The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah announced on Monday that 30 deaths 1529 new cases of the coronavirus and 2023 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 14 deaths and 531 infections were recorded in the West Bank while 16 deaths and 998 new cases were recorded in the Gaza Strip.
Kailah said that the recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 89.3 percent while the rate of active infections reached 9.6 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
She pointed out that there are 167 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 46 who have been placed on ventilators.
Regarding the vaccination campaign the minister noted that the total number of people who received the corona vaccine in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 166849 including 25466 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
