The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah announced on Wednesday that 30 deaths 978 new cases of the coronavirus and 1670 recoveries were recorded in Palestine during the last 24 hours.
It confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that the recovery rate of coronavirus reached 90.4 percent while the rate of active infections reached 8.5 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
The new infections were distributed as follows: Jerusalem Suburbs 28 Qalqilya 18 Salfit 23 Nablus 56 Jenin 48 Tulkarem 43 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 71 al-Khalil 39 Tubas 5 Bethlehem 26 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 7 the Gaza Strip 437 and Jerusalem 177 the ministry noted.
The ministry pointed out that there are 93 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 25 who have been placed on ventilators.
Earlier today Ali Abd Rabbo the Minister of Health’s office manager said that the government measures that had been taken during the past two weeks had led to a decrease in the number of coronavirus infections.
He added in statements to a local radio station “The epidemiological curve promised that Palestine is moving in the right direction.”
