The Palestinian Authority’s Ministry of Health on Saturday announced that 4 coronavirus (COVID-19) deaths 417 new cases and 340 recoveries have been recorded in the Palestinian areas during the past 24 hours.
Mai al-Kaila Minister of Health said in the daily report that the recovery rate in Palestine has slightly increased to 67.7% while the death rate stood at 0.6%.
Al-Kaila said four deaths were recorded in al-Khalil and Jericho: two on Friday night and two on Saturday morning.
According to al-Kaila the new infections are distributed to the districts as the following: 148 in al-Khalil 23 in Nablus 25 in Bethlehem 41 in Qalqilya 79 in Ramallah and al-Bireh 4 in Jenin 16 in Jericho and the Jordan Valley 5 in Salfit 9 in Tulkarem 2 in Tubas 29 in the Gaza Strip 36 in Jerusalem and its outskirts.
There are 40 COVID-19 patients in critical condition 8 of whom have been put on ventilators.
