47 Palestinian students have been injured as clashes broke out Tuesday afternoon in al-Quds University in Abu Dis east of occupied Jerusalem.
The clashes broke out when Israeli police forces stormed Abu Dis town and stationed in large numbers near the university Quds Press reported.
Teargas bombs were heavily fired in the surrounding areas of the university. Several injuries were reported among the students.
Two gunshot injuries were reported while 45 students suffered teargas suffocation Palestinian Red Crescent said.
A similar attack was carried out in Polytechnic University in al-Khalil where several students choked on teargas.
