At least seven Palestinians among them five ex-prisoners were arrested by the Palestinian Authority (PA) forces in the occupied West Bank.
Hamas Information Office said in a Friday statement that the PA Preventive Forces in al-Khalil arrested three Palestinians including two ex-prisoners on Thursday afternoon.
Sameh al-Kawasmi and ex-prisoner Mus’ab al-Hur were arrested by the PA forces after they were summoned to questioning.
PA troops also stormed the home of Haythem al-Kawasmi and summoned his son Mujahed to interrogation.
At the same time the PA intelligence forces in al-Khalil transferred Marwan Abu Fara to Jericho jail and extended his remand for another 15 days though he paid a 200-Jordanian-dinar fine.
The PA preventive forces in Ramallah also subjected the ex-prisoner Ahmed Ekab diagnosed with hepatomegaly (the condition of having an enlarged liver) to heavy beating after they summoned him to questioning.
The campaign culminated in the abduction of ex-prisoner Asid Shahada by the PA Preventive Forces in Nablus on his way to his workplace.
