At least 50 Palestinians were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at daybreak Monday in mass abduction sweeps rocking Occupied Jerusalem and the West Bank.
According to eye-witnesses dozens of Israeli military vehicles escorted by a helicopter rolled into Jerusalem’s eastern town of al-Issawiya.
45 Palestinian young men were kidnapped by the Israeli forces from al-Issawiya. The list included Adam Mahmoud Walid Abu al-Hums Mahmoud Ouni Youssef Eisha Alaa Abu Khenjar Mohamed Darwish Hamada Shemali Abed Dari and Fadi al-Issawi among others.
The Israeli soldiers also handed over interrogation writs to three ex-prisoners among them female ex-prisoner Shireen al-Issawi.
Heavily-armed Israeli patrols also stormed al-Matar neighborhood adjacent to the Qalandiya refugee camp north of Occupied Jerusalem and wreaked havoc on civilian homes.
Overnight dozens of Palestinians choked on teargas in clashes with the IOF south of al-Khalil province. Members of al-Rajabi family were all rushed to al-Muhtasib Hospital for urgent treatment after the IOF showered civilian homes with teargas grenades.
At the same time four Palestinians were kidnapped by the Israeli army troops from the northern occupied West Bank province of Jenin.
The occupation soldiers broke into the city at 03:00 a.m. and climbed over the rooftops of civilian homes before they ravaged others.
The list of arrestees included three young men in their 20s along with ex-prisoner Faraj al-Sanouri released just a couple of months ago from Israeli jails.
The occupation soldiers also sealed off the main entrance to Yamon town west of Jenin with a military checkpoint where Palestinian civilians had been subjected to intensive questioning.
