Sunday 11-July-2021

At least 51 Palestinian citizens were injured on Saturday evening and night during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in the towns of Beita and Qusra in southern Nablus.

Red Crescent official Ahmed Jibril said that 42 citizens suffered from inhaling tear gas and seven others suffered slip and fall injuries during the clashes with the IOF in Beita town.

Two others suffered from their exposure to tear gas during skirmishes with the IOF in Qusra town Jibril added.

In Beita local youths continued to stage their confusion rally near the illegal settler outpost on Mount Sobeih and some of them managed to remove and burn the Israeli flag on the mount.

The young men also torched several tires near the outpost before Israeli forces chased them and showered them with tear gas canisters.

For several weeks local youths from Beita town and other areas of Nablus started to organize nightly protest events as a form of popular resistance against the Israeli occupation and its settlers who set up an outpost on Mount Sobeih.
