At least 6 Palestinians were injured on Tuesday after Jewish settlers attacked Palestinians in Silwan in Occupied Jerusalem.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society Jewish settlers guarded by Israeli police attacked Palestinians in the Wadi al-Rababa neighborhood in Silwan village beating them and damaging their vehicles.
In a related incident the Israeli police arrested 5 Palestinians after storming their homes in Silwan village.
Local sources reported that Israeli police detained the two Palestinian young men Abed Samrin and Adnan Abu Snainah who tried to confront the settlers’ attacks.
In a later incident Israeli police fired rubber-coated bullets and stun grenades at Palestinian students in the Ras al-Amud neighborhood in Silwan village which triggered clashes between Palestinian youths and Israeli police.
Israeli police claimed that 4 Israeli soldiers were slightly wounded during clashes in the village of Silwan.
The Jerusalemite activist Wafa Jarrar called on the Palestinian people to march en masse to protect Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Israeli desecration.
