The Palestinian health ministry on Tuesday reported 6 deaths and 1043 new cases of the coronavirus in the West Bank and Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours.
The ministry confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 5 deaths were recorded in the West Bank and 918 infections while one death and 125 new cases were recorded in the Gaza Strip.
It stated that 777 infected people had recovered from the virus indicating that the recovery rate of coronavirus reached 93.2 percent while the rate of active infections reached 5.7 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
The ministry pointed out that there are 67 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 27 who have been placed on ventilators.
