The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah announced on Tuesday that six deaths 382 new cases of the coronavirus and 143 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 4 deaths and 31 infections were recorded in the West Bank while two deaths and 351 new cases were recorded in the Gaza Strip.
Kailah stated that the recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 97.7 percent while the rate of active infections reached 1.2 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
She pointed out that there are 25 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 4 who have been placed on ventilators.
Regarding the vaccination campaign the minister noted that the total number of people who received the corona vaccine in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 330154 including 225906 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
