A letter signed by 63 members of the US Congress and addressed to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo called on the US administration to work to put an end to the Israeli demolition of Palestinian homes in the Occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.
The Congress members expressed their concern over home demolitions forced transfers and other collective punishment policies pursued systematically by the Israeli authorities against the Palestinians including the recent demolitions in Wadi al-Hummus neighborhood in Jerusalem.
They also called on the US administration to make sure that no US-supplied equipment or funds are being used to destroy Palestinian homes.
