Dozens of Palestinian citizens were injured when the Israeli occupation forces violently quelled the Great March of Return which marked the 71st anniversary of the Nakba in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday.
The PIC reporter said quoting the Ministry of Health that 65 Palestinians were injured by live ammunition and tear gas bombs including two journalists 22 children and 5 women.
A general strike prevailed in the Gaza Strip and hundreds of Palestinians marched toward the eastern border to commemorate the anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba 15 May 1948
Meanwhile the Israeli occupation army deployed its forces in large numbers along the border between the Gaza Strip and the 1948 occupied territories and met the peaceful protesters with gunfire and tear gas.
