Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health announced on Monday that 7 deaths 612 new cases of the coronavirus and 440 recoveries were recorded during the last 24 hours.
Kailah confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that the new deaths were distributed as follows: al-Khalil 1 Bethlehem 1 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 1 Jerusalem suburbs 1 Qalqilya 1 and Nablus 2.
She stated that the new cases were recorded according to the following: Salfit 48 al-Khalil 84 the suburbs of Jerusalem 46 Qalqilya 10 Nablus 72 Tulkarem 32 Tubas 10 Bethlehem 53 Jenin 32 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 160 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 9 Gaza Strip 53 indicating that 4533 examinations were conducted.
The new recoveries were recorded as follows: Salfit 22 al-Khalil 10 the suburbs of Jerusalem 47 Qalqilya 3 Nablus 62 Tulkarem 11 Tubas 9 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 50 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 2 and the Gaza Strip 216 the minister added.
She noted that the recovery rate of coronavirus reached 93.8 percent while the rate of active infections reached 5.1 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
Kailah pointed out that there are 56 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 16 who have been placed on ventilators.
