Dozens of Jewish settlers stormed al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of Israeli police on Wednesday morning.
Islamic Endowments Department affirmed that 80 Israeli settlers broke into the plazas of the Mosque and took photos of the holy site as well.
Heavily armed Special Forces have escorted the settlers during their tours while Israeli police tightened their military restrictions on Palestinian worshipers’ entry into the Mosque.
