Hordes of Jewish settlers desecrated the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem under tight police protection on Thursday morning.
According to the Islamic Awqaf Administration in Jerusalem at least 85 settlers entered the Mosque in different groups through its Maghariba Gate toured its courtyards and provocatively performed Talmudic prayers under Israeli police guard.
In a related development the alleged temple mount groups conducted a simulation of the Passover animal sacrifice rituals in the Umayyad Palaces area near the Aqsa Mosque with an intent to implement on Friday evening the 14th day of the holy month of Ramadan.
However the Israeli occupation authority rescinded its earlier approval of the act according to an Israeli government statement on Wednesday.
The government statement came shortly after Hamas warned that performing the Passover animal sacrifice rituals will not go unpunished.
This year the Hebrew Passover intersects with the third week of the holy month of Ramadan between the 16th and 22nd of April.
