The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested 85 Palestinians in al-Khalil and its surrounding areas during July 2018 a monthly report said.
Hamas’ Prisoners Office said that Israeli forces arrested over the past month 12 Palestinian children and six women in al-Khalil.
Israeli arrests had notably escalated during July in the city as it has been witnessing daily raid and search campaigns according to the sources.
During July Israeli courts issued 21 administrative detention orders against Palestinian prisoners from al-Khalil while four prisoners also from al-Khalil launched an open hunger strike in Israeli jails against their continued detention without charge or trial.
