The Palestinian health ministry on Thursday reported 895 new positive tests associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus) in the West Bank the Gaza Strip and Jerusalem with no new deaths during the last 24 hours.
According to the ministry’s daily report 93 patients also recovered from the disease in the West Bank Gaza and Jerusalem.
21 critically ill COVID-19 patients are also receiving intensive care in hospitals and two of them have been placed on ventilators.
In addition another 33 patients are receiving medical care in hospitals and special COVID-19 treatment centers.
97.5 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease while the rate of active cases has reached 1.4 percent and the rate of deaths is 1.1 percent of the total cases according to data updated today by the ministry.
