The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a large-scale raid campaign throughout the West Bank and Jerusalem at dawn Monday during which 9 Palestinians were rounded up.
In al-Khalil four Palestinians were detained including a university student.
In Occupied Jerusalem a Palestinian was rounded up while another was injured as clashes erupted in Abu Dis town.
Similar clashes broke out in Beit Anan town northwest of Jerusalem where a young man was detained.
A violent raid campaign was also carried out in Balata refugee camp in Nablus. At least one local young man was arrested while two young men were detained in Salfit.
Meanwhile IOF soldiers arrested the director of the Media and Public Relations Department of the Detainees and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority Thaer Shreiteh at Za’tara checkpoint south of Nablus on Sunday evening.
The IOF troops often carry out detention raids against Palestinians in the West Bank and Jerusalem claiming to arrest wanted Palestinians.
Over the past year Israeli forces arrested 8000 Palestinians including 1300 minors and 184 women.
