9 Palestinians kidnapped by Israeli forces at crack of dawn

Sunday 20-August-2017

At least nine Palestinians were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation army at daybreak Sunday in abduction sweeps launched across the West Bank and Jerusalem.

The Israeli army claimed in a statement responsibility for the abduction of five Palestinians from the West Bank provinces of Tulkarem Ramallah and al-Khalil.

The Israeli police also said four Palestinians were arrested in Occupied Jerusalem among them three minors on account of their participation in anti-occupation protests in al-Issawiya east of Jerusalem over recent weeks.

At the same time the Israeli occupation troops stormed Alar town north of Tulkarem at the crack of dawn and wreaked havoc on the family home of the slain Palestinian youth Quteiba Zahran before they kidnapped his brother Tareq.

The IOF soldiers further stormed al-Khalil’s northern town of Beit Ummar in the southern West Bank and handed over summonses to Palestinian civilians and ex-prisoners.
