Nearly 90000 Muslim worshipers performed Eid prayers at holy al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem.
According to Jerusalem’s Awqaf Department tens of thousands of Palestinians have flocked to al-Aqsa since predawn time.
Israeli police troops have cordoned off Jerusalem streets and the Old City. Policemen have also been spotted near the entrance gates to al-Aqsa Mosque.
Spy balloons equipped with cameras have soared above Jerusalem to keep worshipers in check.
At the same time Muslim medical crews have been present at al-Aqsa to assist the worshipers.
Speaking during Eid Khutbah (sermon) al-Aqsa imam (preacher) reminded the masses of the values of peace love and cooperation inherent in the Islamic faith.
