BEIRUT (PIC)– An academic study by Dr. Ahmad Said Nawfal Professor of political science stressed that Israel plays a very serious role in fragmenting the Arab world by creating centers of tension to justify foreign intervention.
The new study was published by the Zaitouna Studies Center in Beirut under the tiltle “Israel’s role in the fragmentation of the Arab World” in which Professor Nawfal discusses the role of Israel in weakening and fragmenting the Arab world.
“To explain the state of fragmentation that the Arab world has reached it is important to draw attention to the role that Israel plays in this regard especially after this role has become very clear in Iraq Lebanon Sudan and other areas” Dr. Nawfal argues pointing out that many Israeli research centers provoke minority issues in Arab countries and search for ways of employing these issues to serve Israeli schemes.
The 196-page-study emphasizes the importance of making the Arab reader aware of these Zionist schemes and the role of Arab intellectuals in disseminating this knowledge.
The academic also points out that resisting Israel is not the sole duty of the Palestinian people but rather all the Arab world should be involved if it was to protect itself against complete disintegration.
Director of the Zaitouna Studies Center Dr. Muhsen Saleh says that this research proves that the success of the Zionist project in Palestine depends on the keeping the Arab countries around Israel in a state of weakness underdevelopment and disunity.
