NAZARETH (PIC)– The Aqsa Foundation has condemned the aggression on a Christian cemetery in Kufr Bur’um village in the 1948 occupied Palestinian lands holding the IOA responsible for such sacrilegious act.
The AF addressed a message carrying this meaning to Dr. Attalla Hanna the Sabastia Archbishop and the village’s community following the aggression.
The AF charged that the aggression targeted the very existence of Muslims Christians and Arabs in Palestine. It affirmed that Israeli occupation is exercising religious persecution against the indigenous people of Palestine Muslim and Christian Arabs.
The IOA’s silence towards such aggressions is a green light and an encouragement to those culprits who attack Islamic and Christian holy shrines that they would not be prosecuted the message underlined.
It said that the IOA closed down or demolished tens of mosques and churches in the 1948 areas and does not allow renovation of those holy shrines noting that the IOA had also destroyed Islamic and Christian graveyards.
