Abbas’s security kidnaps 7 Hamas supporters

Tulkarem (PIC)– Security forces loyal to former PA chief and Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas on Wednesday kidnapped seven citizens for supporting Hamas in the districts of Tulkarem Nablus and Jericho including two ex-prisoners in Israeli occupation jails and a municipal council member.

Omama the official website of Hamas in the West Bank said in a statement on Thursday that five citizens were kidnapped in Tulkarem and one in each of Nablus and Jericho.

Meanwhile Abbas’s forces released Huda Mara’ba 61 after 50 days of detention.

Local sources in Qalqilia said that Mara’ba was banned from entering Qalqilia or visiting her husband’s grave and her father was forced to sign a pledge that his daughter would not enter the city or else both of them would be detained.

Abbas’s forces had killed Mara’ba’s husband and two members of the Qassam Brigades on 31/5 and wounded her in the process. She was hospitalized and her left hand was amputated and remained in intensive care for a long time before being held in Jenin prison until her release on Wednesday.
