Palestinian Authority’s president Mahmoud Abbas arrived on Sunday evening in the Turkish capital of Ankara for a three-day visit.
Abbas and his accompanying delegation are scheduled to meet with president Recep Tayyip Erdogan and other senior Turkish officials on Monday.
According to Wafa news agency both sides will discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations and coordination on issues of common interest.
The visit comes amid media reports about Turkish efforts to revive Palestinian reconciliation.
