SALFIT (PIC)– Hamas MP Dr. Omar Abdelrazek has ridiculed the news report published in London about a meeting between him and the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) officials.
He said in a statement on Saturday that the London-based Arabic language daily Al-Shark Al-Awsat’s report about a meeting between Hamas and the IOA in the West Bank came as a surprise and was completely untrue.
He said that all knows who goes for meetings with the occupiers adding that he did not receive any message or warning from the IOA as the paper mentioned.
According to Palestinian sources quoted in the report Abdelrazak was taken from Nablus in the West Bank to the Israeli city of Netanya on Tuesday.
The Palestinian sources said the meeting was held in order to warn Hamas against kidnapping Israeli settlers in the West Bank.
The MP and former minister asked the media to be reasonable and to scrutinize their reports before publishing them and not to allow occupation to market its schemes through the media.
