Palestinian lawmaker Ahmed Abu Halabiya has warned that the Israeli intents to stage mass settler break-ins at the Aqsa Mosque will trigger widespread confrontations and resistance operations across the occupied territories.
In press remarks on Tuesday MP Abu Halabiya described the ongoing desecration of the Aqsa Mosque by Jewish settlers as “part of the religious war being waged by the Israeli occupation state against Jerusalem.”
The lawmaker called for strongly standing in the face of Israeli intents to allow Jewish settler groups to desecrate the Mosque en masse on December 18 to mark the Hanukkah holiday.
He affirmed that the Jewish settlers try through performing Talmudic rituals in the Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards to promote their fabricated and false Biblical narrative expressing his confidence in the Muslim worshipers’ ability to protect their Mosque against Israeli violations.
“The religious extremism is getting more intense and violent after the Zionist right wing’s rise to power” he said.
