Head of Hamas International Relations Office Dr. Musa Abu Marzouk said in press statements issued Tuesday that the normal situation in the West Bank is to revolt against Israeli occupation forces (IOF) and settler attacks.
The Palestinian people cannot keep calm as long as the occupation remains on its land and holy sites he added.
“Our Palestinian people will continue to adhere to its principles and to struggle until achieving complete freedom and liberation from the occupation” Abu Marzouk stressed.
On the other hand Abu Marzouk said that it is not possible to hold the Palestinian elections just according to the Fatah movement’s willingness calling on Fatah to review its political positions and to stop its political exclusion policy.
He also pointed out that “Russia called on Hamas and Fatah to hold a new round of reconciliation talks but Fatah did not accept the Russian invitation.”
“We are ready to work to end the internal division and hold comprehensive Palestinian elections and we have never rejected any invitation to restore national unity on the basis of preserving Palestinian constants” he concluded.
