Deputy head of Hamas’s political bureau Mousa Abu Marzouk has said that his Movement refuses to participate in any next “Vichy” government in Ramallah saying it would be like its predecessors “void of any national legacy and promoting division.”
In Twitter remarks on Wednesday Abu Marzouk criticized Fatah officials for stating that Hamas would not be invited to participate in the new government of the Palestine Liberation Organization affirming that Hamas in the first place rejects to be part of it.
He expressed his belief that the upcoming government would work on paving the way for the US-backed deal of the century.
In a related context Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri stated on his Twitter page that Fatah has no right to form any government because it lost the elections and such step would be a coup against the democratic process.
