Member of Hamas’s political bureau Mousa Abu Marzouk said that the Jerusalemites’ success in aborting Israel’s plan to create a new status quo at the Aqsa Mosque dealt a heavy blow to the Israeli occupation state and its partners.
In a press release on Thursday Abu Marzouk said that the Aqsa Mosque’s trustees and defenders achieved an honorable victory in Jerusalem and proved their support for the option of resistance against the occupation.
The Hamas official also applauded all the popular and official positions that backed the Palestinian people’s steadfastness in Jerusalem and reflected a strong attachment to the holy city the Aqsa Mosque and the national rights.
