Member of Hamas’s Political Bureau Mousa Abu Marzouk on Monday said that the Palestinian Authority (PA) is pushing the besieged Gaza Strip to the brink of chaos.
Abu Marzouk in Twitter denounced recent statements by the PA president Mahmoud Abbas attacking Hamas and accusing the Palestinian movement ruling the Gaza Strip of betrayal.
Abu Marzouk added that the PA cutting of the salaries of Fatah-affiliated employees and the attack on the Palestine TV headquarters in Gaza were a prelude to bringing Abbas’s plan to completely separate the Gaza Strip from the West Bank into action.
The PA on Sunday abruptly decided to pull its employees from Rafah border crossing with Egypt amid widespread condemnation among Palestinian national and Islamic groups.
