Member of Hamas’s political bureau Mousa Abu Marzouk has described the Palestinian Authority (PA) leadership’s decision to revoke its agreements with the Israeli occupation state as meaningless without severing its ties with it on the ground.
“One of the most important issues that should be addressed by the Palestinian Authority is to disengage practically from its ties with the occupation state which controls everything including birth and death records health trade water electricity land housing security crossings tax collection money movement and banks” Abu Marzouk said in Twitter remarks.
Last May PA chief Mahmoud Abbas announced that his authority considered all agreements signed with Israel and the US null and void after Israel declared it would annex parts of the occupied West Bank.
