Member of Hamas’s political bureau Mussa Abu Marzouk said in press statements on Sunday that Palestinian resistance will succeed in lifting the siege on Gaza and implement Gaza reconstruction saying that all options are ready to respond to the Israeli manipulation.
“We will not accept any Israeli delays or any attempts to link the prisoners swap deal with the reconstruction file” he added.
Abu Marzouk stressed that his group is working to alleviate the people of Gaza’s suffering.
He further pointed out that the Palestinian Authority does not want any solution for the Gaza Strip except after removing Hamas Movement from the scene.
The Palestinian people are in a state of continuous resistance to the Zionist project and there will be no calm for free he stressed.
Regarding the recent decisions of the Central Committee of the Fatah movement Abu Marzouk said “Fatah movement deals with the institutions of the Palestinian people as a private property” considering it as one of the most important causes of Palestinian crises.
He stressed that the formation of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization is supposed to be according to a transparent and fair mechanism and “not according to the Fatah movement.”
Abu Marzouk also stressed the need to reshape the leadership of the Palestinian people according to democratic and national foundations to strengthen partnership in decision-making to end the monochronic attitude and to rebuild the PLO so that it includes all components of the Palestinian people.
On the other hand Abu Marzouk hailed the Russian efforts to end the Palestinian division stressing that Hamas has no conditions on national dialogues and has never set conditions for starting new rounds of dialogue.
He explained that Hamas had welcomed the Russian invitation but that “officials in the Fatah movement did not inform the Russians of their response.”
Abu Marzouk also pointed to the Algerian invitation to host Palestinian reconciliation meetings hailing the Algerian efforts in this regard.
Abu Marzouk also stressed that his group is keen to achieve an honorable prisoners’ exchange deal based on its conditions pointing out that the Israeli government is unable to take a decision to move forward with another exchange deal.
