Member of Hamas’s political bureau Mousa Abu Marzouk arrived on Thursday evening in the Lebanese capital Beirut coming from Cairo to meet with officials and national figures in the country.
According to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) in Lebanon Abu Marzouk participated immediately after his arrival in Beirut at a special iftar (fast-breaking) dinner organized by Hamas in the presence of senior officials of Palestinian factions.
Addressing the attendees Abu Marzouk talked in brief about the recent Arab developments that emerged following US president Donald Trump’s visit to the region and their impacts on the future of the Palestinian cause.
The Hamas official intends during his visit to Lebanon to meet with Lebanese officials and Palestinian figures to discuss the future of the Palestinian cause and the national struggle against the occupation as well as the situation in the region and issues related to the Palestinian refugees in the country.
