The reaction of the international community and the West in general vis-à-vis the Israeli attacks on the Al-Aqsa Mosque is “unfair and ambiguous” and provides a cover to the Israeli aggressive practices member of Hamas political bureau Sami Abu Zuhri said on Sunday.
“The international community’s reactions do not pose any pressure on the Israeli occupation to put an end to its repeated assaults” Abu Zuhri tweeted on Sunday morning.
Earlier in the morning several Muslim worshipers were either injured or detained when a large number of Israeli police forces stormed the Aqsa Mosque and its vicinity to pave the way for groups of Jewish settlers who started flocking to the Islamic holy site to mark the Passover festival.
