Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri has described as “disgraceful” the reception of the Israeli minister of culture and sports in the Emirati city of Abu Dhabi with no regard for the Israeli massacre of Palestinian children in the Gaza Strip.
In Twitter remarks on Monday Abu Zuhri said that “the scenes of the great hospitality which an Israeli criminal had received in Abu Dhabi was no different in its effect on the Palestinian people from the killing of innocent children in Gaza.”
A few days after Israeli premier paid a surprise visit to Oman Israeli sports and culture minister Miri Regev on Sunday visited Abu Dhabi and its grand mosque where she was warmly received.
Regev arrived in the United Arab Emirates for a judo tournament which an Israeli team was participating in.
In previous statements Hamas had slammed Gulf states including Bahrain UAE and Qatar and Oman for normalizing relations with the Israeli occupation states.
