Sunday 18-March-2018

The Palestinian administrative detainees in Israeli jails have been boycotting military courts for 32 consecutive days according to the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS).

In a press release the PPS said on Sunday that the Israeli security authorities had issued about 194 administrative detention orders from the beginning of the current year to March 12.

There are about 500 Palestinians in administrative detention and most of them have spent several years in such imprisonment. Some have been in jail with no indictment or trial for over 14 years.

There are four Palestinian lawmakers among those detainees and they are Mohamed al-Natsheh Hasan Yousef Mohamed Bader and Khaleda Jarrar.
