The Islamic Jihad leader Khader Adnan called on Palestinians to support prisoners in Israeli jails in light of the Israeli prison Service’s (IPS) repeated violations against them.
The ex-detainee Adnan stressed in his interview with the PIC that captives Khaled al-Silawi and Ahmad Nassar who stabbed Israeli jailers defended their rights after Israeli violent practices against them.
Israeli violations against Palestinian prisoners include solitary confinement repeated transfers between jails storming of detainees’ rooms imposing of penalties and ill-treatment.
He added that the captives’ attack aimed at sending a message to the IPS saying that Palestinian prisoners are still strong despite detention and repeated violations.
