Al-Aqsa preacher sends open letter to Arab Summit

Al-Aqsa Mosque preacher Sheikh Mohamed Hussein called Friday on Arab leaders to meet over the next few days in an Arab Summit in Jordan to unite their efforts for the protection of occupied Jerusalem and its holy sites mainly al-Aqsa Mosque.

During the Friday sermon Sheikh Hussein called for practical steps to alleviate the suffering of Arab peoples warning against the gravity of the current situation.

He also stressed the importance of putting Jerusalem issue on the top priorities of the Arab Summit and to seriously discuss ways to confront Israeli Judaization projects.

The Palestinian cause is the central issue of not only the Palestinian people or the Arab nation but of all the free world he said.

Defending Jerusalem and its holy sites needs united efforts to help in supporting the Jerusalemite steadfastness according to his statements.

Sheikh Hussein pointed to the Israeli continued attacks on al-Aqsa mainly the settlers’ provocative break-ins which have notably escalated over the past period.

He concluded by stressing that al-Aqsa Mosque is a pure Islamic property.
