Al-Haq human rights organization on Saturday asked the Palestinian consensus government to form an independent committee to review the files of all civil workers who were affected by the forced early retirement decision and to hear from them.
The organization affirmed its willingness to cooperate with the committee and provide them with the documented testimonials and reports they have got in this regard.
The human rights institution demanded respecting the rights and freedoms of the employers who were forced into early retirement.
The statement showed that the documents they have got prove that the forced retirement orders have also affected the youth who already suffer from marginalization.
Al-Haq organization also stated that there are strong indications that many of the forced retirement orders were unjustified based on discrimination and came as punishment for expressing their opinions which is a right guaranteed by the Palestinian Basic Law.
