The Palestinian minister of health Mai al-Kaila announced on Friday that six deaths 458 new cases of the coronavirus were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The minister said in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 384 recovery cases were recorded in the same period adding that one death was recorded in the Gaza Strip four in Jenin and one in Nablus.
She pointed out that 58 critically ill patients were admitted to intensive care units while 109 others were being treated in the West Bank’s COVID-19 sections in various hospitals including 17 who have been placed on ventilators.
The recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 98.1 percent while the rate of active infections reached 0.8 percent and the death rate was 1.1 percent of all infections the minister concluded.
