Al-Quds International Institution has denounced the humiliating practices which are used by Israeli jailers to break the will of pro-Aqsa female activists and called on the Palestinians in the holy city to move to defend them.
In a statement on Friday head of the institution Yasin Hamoud said that the arrest of activists Sahar al-Natsha Hinadi Halawani and Khadija Khuwais is aimed to suppress their leading role in protecting the Aqsa Mosque.
According to him Khadija Khuwais suffers from extremely harsh incarceration conditions in the Ramla jail where she is being held in a dirty small cell with a leaking toilet.
Khuwais can only pray while standing because the cell’s floor is impure and covered with sewage.
Besides Israeli jailers in the Ramla jail confiscated last Sunday her prayer dress and headscarf as part of the suppressive measures pursued against her to destroy her morale.
Hamoud urged the Palestinians in Jerusalem to stand by and rally around the national figures and activists who confront Israel’s violations against the Aqsa Mosque.
He also called on the Arab and Muslim nations to defend their honor and dignity and shoulder their moral and humane responsibility towards the female activists who defend the Aqsa Mosque on their behalf.
