Qatari foreign minister Mohamed Al Thani has described the Palestinian cause as “the mother and foundation of all Arab issues.”
In Twitter remarks on Wednesday Al Thani said “there can be no peace in the region without a just and lasting solution [to the Palestinian cause] in accordance with international resolutions.”
“We reject the Israeli occupation’s continued aggression against the Palestinian people and reiterated our firm position on this issue” he added.
Netanyahu told a news conference last Tuesday that he would annex the Jordan Valley and the north of the Dead Sea to Israel if he won next week’s general elections and formed a new government.
