GAZA (PIC)– An American human rights and media delegation arrived in Gaza Strip on Wednesday evening after overcoming several Egyptian hurdles in a show of solidarity with the Strip’s inhabitants.
The 12-member delegation includes the father of Rachel Corrie who was killed by an Israeli bulldozer in March 2003 while trying to obstruct an Israeli attempt to raze a Palestinian home in Rafah on the Egyptian-Palestinian borders.
The team also comprises representatives of women and relief societies along with journalists.
The delegates are expected to tour the areas devastated in the latest Israeli war on Gaza and would get acquainted with the Palestinian people’s needs in light of the tight Israeli siege on the Strip.
