The Popular Committee Against the Siege has called for forming a Palestinian unity government composed of members from different political spectra in order to strengthen the internal front in the face of the US deal of the century.
“We must swiftly form an emergency government containing all Palestinian parties as a practical step taken immediately and urgently to confront the deal” MP Jamal al-Khudari head of the Committee stated in a press release.
“The unity will act as an impervious bulwark against schemes and conspiracies and will strengthen and fortify the internal front” he added.
“Such step is not difficult. It is possible within days through a decree issued by Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas” he said.
