Palestinian youths from Aqraba town in southern Nablus have announced their intention to engage in confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in response to the violent campaign against their town which has been under tight siege since Monday.
The IOF started besieging and terrorizing the local residents of Aqraba town and nearby villages after finding on Monday the car that was used in Sunday’s shooting operation in a nearby area according to Aqraba mayor Ghaleb Mayadmeh.
The IOF has besieged the town from all sides including the agricultural roads that lead to the Jordan Valley and isolated the nearby village of Yanun from its vicinity Mayadmeh added.
The local residents of his town including children and women are being terrorized and suppressed at the hands of Israeli military and security forces according to the mayor.
“The IOF soldiers have stormed and wreaked havoc on dozens of homes as well as commercial stores whose doors were destroyed to confiscate security camera recordings” the mayor said.
