OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (PIC)– Sheikh Yousef Abu Sneine the Khatib (preacher) of Al Aqsa Mosque has called for renouncing discord and dissension in the Palestinian arena and stopping incitement campaigns and destruction of Palestinian institutions.
“The miserable situation in which we live today has become difficult for us to overcome unless the record has been set straight and the reasons behind this impasse and tragedy have been identified” Sheikh Abu Sneine opined in his Friday Khutba (sermon) at the Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem.
He said that what happened was avoidable but it happened because of the insistence of some “influential officials” on staying in power and authority at the expense of “our Palestinian cause and the blood of our martyrs”.
