Al-Aqsa Mosque’s preacher Sheikh Mohammed Husein on Friday condemned the latest Israeli aggressions on Jerusalem and the Palestinians living in the holy city.
During his Friday sermon at al-Aqsa Mosque Husein said that Israel’s stepped up arrest campaign against Jerusalem people falls in line with a failed attempt to undermine their steadfastness and determination.
Husein warned of ongoing attempts to alter the status quo in Jerusalem and turn the holy city into a capital for the state of Israel.
Al-Aqsa preacher hailed the Palestinians protesting in Khan al-Ahmar and resisting the occupation in Jerusalem and all Palestinian territories.
He also warned of suspicious loans offered by Israeli companies to the Palestinians living in Jerusalem with the aim of seizing their property by encouraging them to mortgage their homes real estate or lands in exchange for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Thousands of Palestinian worshipers performed Friday prayer at al-Aqsa Mosque amid tightened Israeli restrictions.
