Al-Aqsa Mosque’s preacher Sheikh Yousef Abu Sneineh on Friday called on the Palestinian people to hold on to national constants.
During Friday sermon at al-Aqsa Mosque Abu Snieneh condemned the rising initiatives by some Arab countries to normalize relations with Israel and warned that the settlement construction in Jerusalem and the West Bank is in full swing.
Abu Sneineh also shed light on the worsening humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip and called for lifting the decade-long blockade imposed on the enclave.
Al-Aqsa preacher touched on the Balfour Declaration on its anniversary through which the land of Palestine was unlawfully given to the Israelis making most of the Palestinians refugees.
Thousands of Palestinians performed Friday prayer at al-Aqsa Mosque amid tightened security measures by the Israeli authorities.
