The Speaker of Arab Parliament Dr. Mishaal Bin Fahm Al-Salami declared total support and solidarity with Palestinian detainees and their suffering inside Israeli jails.
Salami announced in his speech that addressed the fifth plenary session of the second legislative term of the Arab Parliament that the session was held under the theme “Solidarity with Palestinian Prisoners”. The session was held on Monday April 24 at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in Cairo.
He called on the parliamentarians to stand up for a minute to show respect for the Palestinian prisoners who started an open hunger strike on April 17 in coincidence with Palestinian Prisoner Day.
